Instruction includes a special focus on "the greats" - by weaving the study of great people, ideas, events and problems throughout the curriculum, we make learning more vivid, interesting and relevant to students' lives. Teaching occurs in many forms including direct instruction, cooperative learning, project-based learning and other forms of instruction that provide responsive, varied learning situations that meet the needs of each individual learner.
