New this year ABT Glee Club, directed by Ms. Clark, as part of one of our after-school programs, performs at a senior citizens home near ABT on December 15. Our students sang Christmas songs. Resident seniors absolutely loved the performance.
I-pad training for area Leona Group school special education department. About 40 staff members from area Leona Group schools participated in a workshop on 'apps' for the I-pad. They were given information about 'apps' that can be used for students with learning disabilities.
ABT Staff members honored at our annual holiday dinner. Outstanding Service Awards went to, Ms. Dezirae Daniels-Teacher, Mr. Charles Moyer-MVP and Mrs. Gloria Liveoak-Support Staff. Congratulations offered from all staff members for the winners of 2011 "Outstanding Service" awards. Staff members were asked to vote in each category.
Mr. Quinn's Biology class projects yielded some spectacular animal cell projects. Students presentations included animal cell styrofoam models, animal cell game boards, & animal rap song.
